About The Artists:
Dee Hibbert-Jones
 
Nomi Talisman
works with notions of community, sustainable environments and social systems to understand our relationships to public and private space. Most recently Hibbert-Jones exhibited at the Zokei University Museum, Tokyo and Kyoto University Japan, Galeriazero, Barcelona, Spain, GAS New York, the Southampton Institute for Art, England and CESTA Czech Republic. Hibbert-Jones recently received public art commissions from the Golden Gate Parks Conservancy, the National Parks Service, the Goldman Foundation, the Packard Foundation and the City of Santa Cruz. She is an Assistant Professor of Art at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Born in England she currently lives in San Francisco
works with photography, video, and digital media. Her work explores history and collective memory of real and fictional events. She uses serial images and sequences to explore systems and structures of knowledge, and the relationships between private and collective memory, power and control. Her work was exhibited in galleries, art spaces and museums in England, France, Finland, Germany, Israel and the US. Talisman is an independent artist, born in Israel she currently lives in San Francisco, California.
